Training is indeed a common thing done by the company as an effort to improve their employee performance. However, training conducted by the company sometimes does not produce a significant improvement in employee performance.

In addition to training, maybe the company can do other things below to improve employee performance:

  1. Block social media sites from the corporate internet network

Social media actually has many benefits but social media can also be a barrier to a person in performing its activities. Moreover, social media can be accessed anywhere and anytime, it is very possible if the workers are too wasted time to open social media, then its performance will decrease.

If social media becomes one of the causes of the decline in performance of workers, then the company can make a policy to block social media sites on the corporate Internet network. That way, workers can no longer access social media while they are working.

However, if workers access social media with their own mobile phones, then the company can provide a strict reprimand or rule about the prohibition of opening social media sites during working hours.
